An Evening Of Indulgence Fit For An Imperial Czar


Morton's The Steakhouse invites you to a memorable evening of tasting extraordinary Imperia Vodka cocktails matched with equally delectable caviar and Morton's signature hors d'oeuvres. The planned cocktail event is themed on pairing two complementary Russian delicacies.

The featured premier vodka served will be Imperia Vodka used to make the cocktail choices of Imperia Mortini, Russian Rasberry Mortini, Thyme Lemon Drop Mortini and the Cucumber Mortini. Imported from Russia, Imperia Vodka debuted in the U.S. a few years ago and is made from winter wheat grown in the black soil of the Russian Steppes. It is distilled eight times and blended with the glacial waters from Lake Lagoda. The liquid is then filtered twice through charcoal and twice again through quartz crystals from the Ural Mountains. The Imperia formula is based on Dmitri Mendeleev's original formula, decreed by Czar Alexander III in 1894 as "The Standard of Vodka."

To accompany the icy chilled cocktails will be a variety of three signature hors d'oeuvres and special caviar. Defined as a "glorious delicacy," Petrossian Caviar is purposefully paired with the Imperia Vodka because of its superiority characteristics in taste, texture, color and size. Sliced Smoked Salmon, Tuna Tartare Canapés and Sliced Tenderloin on Crostini -- all with the Morton's touch -- will also be featured for the evening.

Morton's specializes in classic, hearty American fare, serving generous portions of its specialty, USDA grain-fed Prime-aged beef (the finest available), fresh fish, lobsters and chicken entrees, as well as spectacular desserts.
