Morton's Steakhouses Receive 2008 Wine Spectator Award of Excellence

Morton's Restaurant Group, Inc. (NYSE: MRT) announced today that all 79 of its eligible Morton's steakhouses have received the 2008 Award of Excellence from Wine Spectator, America's leading wine appreciation magazine. According to Wine Spectator, the Award of Excellence is given to restaurants that that offer a well-chosen selection of quality producers, along with a thematic match to the menu in both price and style.

"As a fine-dining leader offering our guests great selections of world-class wines, Morton's is proud that every one of our eligible Morton's steakhouses received this honor from Wine Spectator," said Tylor Field III, Vice President of Wine and Spirits for Morton's Restaurant Group. "Morton's offers extensive and diverse wine lists with selections from many domestic and international wineries, as well as knowledgeable wine service, which reflects our commitment to making every meal a memorable dining experience."

Field noted that every Morton's steakhouse maintains a wine list with at least 225 selections, with some Morton's featuring more than 500 fine selections. Morton's also offers wine lockers for loyal guests who wish to keep special wine selections on hand at our Morton's steakhouses. Morton's 80th steakhouse opened in Coral Gables, FL on June 1, 2008 and will be eligible for next year's Award of Excellence.
